Carnatic vocal

Smt. Mālavi Mudigoṇḍa

From a musical family and a disciple of Guru Nādasudhā Smt. Śakuntalā Chundūru, Smt. Mālavi holds a diploma in Carnatic music and has taught for more than twenty-five years. Her Austin students grow through varṇams, kṛtis, and the quiet strength of daily sādhana.

Vid. Sri. Gaṇēsh Rājagōpālan

Violinist, composer, and educator of international stature — Sangeet Natak Akademi awardee and Grammy-winning artist with Shakti. Austin violin students study under his guidance, learning tone, bowing, and the Carnatic violin voice from first phrases onward.

Śruti alignment, voice culture, geetams and varṇams, kritis across major rāgas, and concert etiquette.

Posture and bow control, gamaka fluency, accompaniment skills, and solo Carnatic violin repertoire.
